Digital workshop “In Leonard’s Footsteps”: Carte blanche for Heritage Intelligence at CCC OD

The CCC OD hosts in residence the ARD Intelligence des Patrimoines program, as part of the cultural season "500 ans de Renaissance(S) en Centre-Val de Loire" and in connection with the exhibition "Un paysage américain (générique)" by Alain Bublex. Intelligence des Patrimoines takes over the Auditorium and transforms the space into a real digital experimentation workshop, in which the public explores Leonardo da Vinci's multiple facets under the prism of the latest scientific research.

To better understand this world-famous historical figure, the Centre d’études supérieures de la Renaissance (CESR) and the ARD Intelligence des Patrimoines programme have developed the project “Sur les pas de Léonard” (In the footsteps of Leonardo) under the guidance of Pascal Brioist (Professor of Modern History at the University of Tours / CESR), this project offers an original interactive experience in the form of an initiatory trip in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci. Through a web-documentary and a virtual reality video game, it is thus possible to enter the creative universe of Master Tuscan, to discover the unknown aspects of his life and the way he conceived his inventions during the Renaissance.
