Time travel with thousands of LEGO® bricks
At Château de Cheverny, a Renaissance atmosphere is guaranteed, but made of LEGO® bricks…
From July 1st, the castle will host a new LEGO® exhibition “Cheverny in the Renaissance”. The small Danish bricks will allow young and old to travel back in time, towards the Renaissance!
“This is the fourth LEGO® brick exhibition that we are organizing at the castle with History in Bricks,” explains Constance de Vibraye, owner of Cheverny,”We are very attached to the fact that the visit to the castle is a moment that can bring together young and old. This new exhibition is a fun way to discover both our estate and an exciting period in the history of the Loire Valley. »
An exhibition of LEGO® to be lived with the whole family during which, in rooms of the castle, everyone can admire the replica of a Renaissance chair, chest and table as well as the bust of Henry IV… in bricks and, of course, life-size. Also to be admired is a painting by Jeanne d’Aragon, signed Raphael and… LEGO®. So many objects and works that all exist in the castle, in their original version!
Visitors will also be able to appreciate the model of the old castle built around 1510 or a painting The Mona Lisa, which Léonard de Vinci will make pale with envy…
“An amazing blend of LEGO® bricks and our historical heritage, this exhibition will be the family event of the moment! “, concluded the Marquise de Vibraye.
