The Companionship, illustrated at Tours
This visit will explain that the Compagnonnage, illustrated in Tours by a museum dedicated and classified as “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO, emerged during the Renaissance through its customs and architectural testimonies.
The visit will end with a friendly time with the tasting of Touraine specialities evoked by François Rabelais (chinon and fouaces).
NB: Due to the development work at the top of National Street, access to the museum is via the square in front of Saint-Julien Church and the museum courtyard. A temporary staircase no longer allows access for people with reduced mobility.
