Exhibition “The Museum of Machines”

Hôtel Lallemant hosts the innovative and offbeat exhibition of the Castanea Spectacles/ Compagnies Le Champ du Ressort and Les Objets Perdus association. It plunges visitors into an imaginary, visual and sound universe around Leonardo da Vinci's "machines".

The artists of the companies Le Champ du Ressort and Les Objets Perdus bring to life and recycle what is worn, broken and obsolete. The drawings of Leonardo da Vinci’s machines come to life again in a new dialogue between the present era and the artist’s time. They offer the public an unusual journey, a theatrical visit through the history of the Renaissance and conceptions, inventions.

During the weekend of the European Heritage Days, on 14 and 15 September, theatrical tours around this exhibition will take visitors to the heart of the machines, their functions and their sounds.
