A travelling exhibition that pays tribute to the know-how of 14 companies from the Centre-Val-de-Loire region that have been awarded the Entreprises Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label and showcases works created and associated with the perfection and beauty of the craft. This exhibition will travel in the Centre-Val de Loire region from Tours to Issoudun, then from Chambord to Chamerolles, to Bourges.
Exhibition organized by the association “EPV – Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant Centre-Val-de-Loire” and which aims to showcase craft companies that possess an emblematic, rare and sometimes ancestral know-how. These regional companies have been awarded a state of excellence label “EPV” and have a real philosophy of the transfer of skills, knowledge and French know-how.
Thus, the visitor will be able to admire various works made by a master lacquerer, restorers of antique books, watches, antique cars, saddlery, stained glass windows, but also manufacturers of lanterns, flutes, musical instrument cases, bicycle frames, tools for working the ground, a megissier…
Very diverse environments gathered around this exhibition and which make up the richness of local economic activity, often unknown to the general public.
The gesture of these companies will also be honoured through a photo exhibition.
These photographic visuals show the craftsman haunted by the perfection of the work and make the gesture associated with the product illustrate both the heritage and the innovation of French know-how.
